I'm having a forage area set up for my *future* Sulcata tort,
will my Beardie eat from it as well?
the mix is a plain foraging mix, (greens, grasses, etc) and a mix of
Timothy
Oat,Red-2 types
Oat, White
Fescue-3 types
Mediterranean (very rare!)
Galetta
Orchard
Timothy
Bermuda/Couchgrass-4 types
Barley-3 types
Rye-5 types
Ricegrass,Indian.
Thx in advance for your answers

It would probably eat some of it, but under no circumstances should the turtle and beardie be together or share food...cooties!!

Trust me...I have no intention for them to be in at the same time.
Thx.

will not leave when the animal who left it there leaves. It's more complicated than that.

I'll bet the beardie would love it, but I would plant a container of it and then put it in the beardie enclosure. Or you could plant a separate, small area for your beardie. I would be afraid of germs left behind, too. A tray type of container like the ones Home Depot and Lowes uses to keep sod in would work well for the dragon's enclosure. That way, you wouldn't have to chop up a salad every day and walking in the grass would be a treat for him. You could also just take some cuttings of your 'pasture' and put in the salad.

I am getting 3 sulcatas tomorrow, and I plan to do the very thing you are talking about.
