ok, i've got melamine cages for my boas with outdoor carpet for a substrate......if i put a kane, zoo med, or whatever other type of heat pad for repiles, would it get too hot under the heating pad to cause problems or would it melt and fuse with the under side of the carpet? or am i just worrying too much? thanx.

what type would be best to get? thanx all!

heating pad from Walmart. A kane heat mat, unless you have a rheostat hooked up may be a bit much. Go to Walmart.
