venomous herps

this is zac.i want to study venom like dr.bryen fry.somthing about venom just nags my attention.what about helodermus suspectum,are they considered hot beacous they are not aggresive and there venom is to cous exstreme pain not death and all you have to do is wear thick leather gloves so the teeth does not go through the leather.

Heloderm venom doesn't kill you, but it can REALLY mess you up. Well, heck, it probably could kill you if you were really unlucky, I don't think that many people have been bitten yet. I personally wouldn't trust plain leather gloves either, with that kind of risk. Nothing to mess around with. I don't have one yet, but I'm actually planning on it in the future.
A lot of venomous snakes fall in the bad but probably not lethal catagory. There are also venomous snakes that aren't really dangerous at all, (mostly colubrids of different sorts) so how you treat them can be your judgement call.
