How to distinguish IJCP from Coastal CP ?

I found hard in the internet but failed, sometimes they look the same.

If you're looking at adults, size will be the biggest clue. Coastals get WAY bigger than IJs. If you're looking at juveniles, IJs usually have red/chestnut bands. Coastals don't normally have these. Then, of course, there are the unidentifiable hybrids/mutts.

Honestly I've seen both Coastal and IJ hatclings that look like that. If you don't know who the parents are then you will have to let him grow a little to be sure of what he is.

Once he get closer to adult size if he developes orange-ish or yellow patches in his banding you can be sure you have an IJ. Also if maxes out at 4ft as adult he is most likely an IJ.

If he grows upward of 7-10ft, its more than likely a Coastal. Also as an FYI, its is more common for Coastal to be sold with little or no info about them than it is for an IJ. At least thats the case here is the USA.
