Heyyyyy everyone.....

BeginnersBasics Dec 05, 2003 06:50 AM

Hi everyone....

We got home at about 7 pm last night and got my father settled in, etc.

Just thought I would let you all know that the legal problems have all been sorted out amd now we can focus 100% on getting him better. My children have told me "I am not allowed to go away again lol)

Anyone who is going to the Orlando show this Saturday will get to meet my father since he is insisting on going with me and learning all he can about dragons

Please check out my site and look for the button titled "In a time of need"..... It is a Thank You page for all who have helped make it possible for me to care for my father and to be able to bring him home for the Holidays.

Lisa all you have done to deserve this is be an active member of the community. I like to think that we take care of our own in their time of need. Some people on the board know how tough of a situation that had to have been and still is. These people feel your pain and want to do anything they can to lessen it. Others have gone through difficult situations in there life and have felt the joy of having a stranger or someone you don't know well go to great lengths to help. These people feel that they should do the same for others. Others yet are just kind and like to help people. I personally have a little of all 3. That is why I helped. It made me feel good.

Glad all is well.
I have some names, from hammock orders I'll get to you so that they can have credit for contributions.
I have a feeling my Christmas orders are going to be a bit slow, everyone already ordered! LOL!!
It was well worth it. ((hugs)) to you and your Dad. I'm sure he'll enjoy the show this weekend.

Oh Christy I still have a few to order!!! I really think you doing this was a super contribution to Lisa and a wonderful way for many to help. I'm sure many that did not ever speak with Lisa donated cause these types of options were available. You did a very kind thing, and I still have quite a few more to buy from you. I'm switching all over to those hammocks, most of my cages have one or two in each. I still have to figure a way to attach them to my melamines. I guess I could just put in eye hooks and tie them up. I like to use them under the basking lights. They all use the hammocks for basking a lot of the time.

I'll never make a fortune making hammocks, but it helps.
Maybe I can get my son new shoes, his duct tape keeps coming off the old pair.
Bahahahahaha! Juuuuuuuust kidding.

I was happy to order a hammock and happy to help out Lisa, even if I don't know her very well I felt sad for her when I read her story.

The hammock arrived today and Ocho acted so funny when I put it in his cage! First he just climbed onto his rock and looked at it from a couple of angles. Then he decided maybe one of those red eyelets was an insect, and tried to eat it! When he realized this wasn't right either, he started oonching on it a little at a time, making sure it was stable. Now he's finally started to rest on it, all puffed out and content.

I'm glad we were able to help out, and I appreciated the people who put things up for sale, and donated the money. This gave a lot of people the opportunity to help with what they could even if they really could not afford to send a large chunk of money. If you need to talk, I've been through it myself, and know what your going through just drop an email. I'm glad your back with your family as well, and have your dad with you too for the holidays. I'm sure this means so much to the both of you. Your in my prayers, best of luck Lisa.

So glad you are home safe and sound....I will also try to get a list together of the people who bought parazap and dragons so you can add them to your thank you page. I'm doing a show also this weekend, so I'll be especially thinking about you and your dad.
