I was looking for someones opinion on this. I would like to get a blue tegu but i know they are rather large lizards. I have read that the female is around 3 feet in length on the average. and the male gets to be close to 4 feet. is there any difference in the two, temprament wise? If i got a female would i have to do anything different, do they lay eggs? or live birth and if so if they do not mate with a male would they ever go into a phase like that. i know with some lizards females lay eggs even if they did not mate. I just would not want to have to deal with the part of the lizard and would prefere a male, but again space in limited. thanks again for the answers ahead of time!
