Here are some pictures of Rob`s new set up.

This wildlife center is the fruition of many years of hard work, dedication and truly a blessing from above (most importantly). I cannot even begin to say how well the animals have adjusted to their new homes....many are much larger than before and I want to thank Habitat Systems and Crescent Moon Creations for making such outstanding displays. Now that all of our animals are exhibited in naturalistic set ups, they are showing MANY more behaviors than before...I wish I had done this years ago and highly recommend it to everyone. I am now even switching all of my home enclosures (which are currently using newspaper) to a more natural look. I have enjoyed the hobby and profession so much more now that I am looking at beautiful displays with animals that are now behaving much more naturally. The alligator snapper tank is still a work in progress as we are adding river rock and natural logs/rocks to the tank.

Here's the scoop on Big Bertha's exhibit:

Company who made it: Habitat Systems
Dimensions: 12' wide x 4' deep x 3' high (viewing glass on both sides)....this burm is quite large: over 18' and over 260 pounds (probably over 280).
Decor: natural rock work on both ends
Heat/Light/Humidity: Pro Product radiant heat panel with a 48" full spectrum bulb for light. Pro Product Misting System to provide optimal ambient humidity levels. Temps range from 80-82 deg F on the cool side to the mid to upper 80's on the warm side and a large basking area of 92-94 deg F.
Substrate: right now we are using Aspen, however, we will be moving towards a more natural looking substrate in the near future; a combination of cypress mulch, forest humus, peat, soil/sand and leaf litter...should look awesome.
Feeding: Big Bertha gets two 12-14lb rabbits each month, vitamin supplementation once a month.
Despite this large exhibit, this snake comes out for regular interaction and "stretch" time...you won't find a healthier burm than this one....she is as solid as a rock.
TOTAL COST OF EXHIBIT: A LOT!!!....but worth every penny.
