Would it be beneficial to put an air stone in a pond in my tank?

I figured it would help keep up the water.

Unless you have anything living in the water other than plants, it wont do any good. In fact, if you do in fact have living plants in the water, the airstone will actually slow their growth because it will oxygenate the water, therefore removing all beneficial Co2.

On the flip side, if you find that the surface of the water is disgusting and filmy, and you want anothter attention-grabber in the tank, an airstone could be a great thing. So basicly, if you want to, just do it. It wont hurt the frogs in any way.
