Okay,I have 15 reptiles and have have cared for them for over 5 years.I love reptiles and hate to see them get hurt or not cared for right. My brother who is 16,thats right 16,bought a pair of collared lizards. He has had them for half a year.I watched him and the lizards closly to see that they were being cared for.He did a great job so i stoppted watching him.I noticed that the female was getting thin,so I notified him and my Dad.Two months later I looked and lizard is clinging to life.He said he has only been feeding it 5 crickets every 2 weeks. My dad handed the lizard to me now and im trying to save it.It has to be forced fed mealworms right now, because it will not eat or drink on its own,But Im trying,by the way my brothers name on kingsnake is zippo you may know him.

i was just wondering... u say being 16 is too young to know how to care for a lizard?? im 15.. well ill be 16 in about a week, but i got a collared and i just got a bearded dragon and i take care of them fine, they are both in very good shape, well my collared has worms but i took him to the vet and they gave me medicine to give him every two weeks and i jsut gave him some today. i don't think age has anything to do with it, its the person that counts, some people just lose interest after awhile

No.I'm saying if your 16 you should be responsible enough to look after a lizard.I'm only 13 and I think I do a great job looking after my 15 reptiles.
