Hi all.
I don't know what to think about using the Tums as a calcium supplement & I was again talking to my cousin who had an ig for years & he made me realize that I may have been using too much suppliment & perhaps that was why Fido could smell it & refused to eat anything with the supplement on it.
He told me to take a toothpick & dip it into the supplement part way & then use the toothpick to stir Fido's food. He said that would be enough.
That said, I was using way too much. My light sprinkling was enough to enable Fido to smell/refuse it.
Tums may be fine but I'm gonna try it this way & see if he will eat it. Why couldn't they make this stuff taste like fruit? LOL.
I'll let you all know how it goes. Thanks for all your help.

They also make a veggie-tasting calcium supplement. Check out their site: www.ectotherm.com. As far as commercial foods go, this is the best price/quality ratio I've ever seen.
