i just talked to the shipping/receiving guy where i work.he deals with ups,fed-x,airborne,& most of the truck freight companies in our area.he told me that they might ask if the label isn't secured to the package very well.or if the package isn't in the best overall condition.if your question is about shipping with a label to indicate what the contents are?
i have recv'd from both fl & ca packages this fall labeled"live harmless reptiles"&"keep between 60 & 80 degrees"written in big black marker on all sides of the box.no questions asked.

Airborne Express is ok to tell them there are live reptiles but not snakes!!! With U.P.S. you have to fill out paperwork including HASMAT forms to ship live animals, again not snakes. I just keep quiet and dont mark the package with them. They will open the box it they think there are animals inside. I believe FedEx has the same type policy as U.P.S. but I am not sure about that.
