You never experience life until you have kids..then you realize what you should have done rather then what you did do

i got her in a 6' malaine cage, with a heat lamp and a heat pad at 1 end. kept around 85-90 degreees. the cooler side is at about 80. with a 2' x 1' water bucket kept in its cage 3 days then taken out for 3 days so she doesnt spend to much time it it and develope any skin problems . im haven a problem with the humidity right now. its between 35-45% . i keep a smaller bowl on the heat pad for extra humidty. useing news paper for a substrait.
hope this helps
Rick.

I'm not an expert..but Anaconda's in the wild spend 2/3 of their life in the water or very moist/soggy ground... They hunt...hide and reproduce in shallow waters so they should have water available at all times..in a container large enough for them to immerse their entire body in. To raise your humidity try getting ahold of cypress mulch for a substrate...and keep it moist though allow it to dry out on top between doses of moisture. Newspaper doesn't hold humidity very well and I think you'll see a significant increase in humidity if you switch from it.
