What temp do i bake logs at???

I would say 250 degrees, cause boiling temp is 212, and that kills just about everything. I baked a 4 inch thick freshly cut oak branch in my oven a year or so ago. I remember checking on it frequently, (don't want to burn the house down) it taking alot longer than I thought-possibly two hours, and it taking FOREVER to cool down, hissing sap the whole time. The key to remember is check it often and don't burn you're house down!
