They are actually collaris now anyway...the subspecies are no longer recognized. I know Tom knows this, but I'm glad he still calls them auriceps...WE KNOW THE FREAKING DIFFERENCE!

Crotaphytus auriceps is another yellow headed collared. It's range is a bit farther west than the aquaflame, and instead of exhibiting the yellow throat, it has a bluethroat.

The females are also amazingly colored as well.

PS...they are simply referred to as C. collaris now, although several of us still like to refer to them as C. aurieps, so we know what we are talking about LOL
