African Dwarf frog health concern

pokedrew94 Dec 06, 2003 04:48 PM

Yesterday I discovered a translucent green thin film kind of object at the bottom of my 1 gallon bowl that my African dwarf frog "Bob" was chewing up & spitting out.
I don't know if it is shedding or what. I was hoping you would know what it was. Also, I was wanting to know if a black mystery snail is OK to have in the bowl with Bob too.

Hi,

It sounds like bob might just be eating his shedded skin. I wouldn't worry too much. The snail should be fine in the tank with the frog too.

Chris.
