What your opinion on the nutritional value of super worms? I've been using some of these for my dwarf monitors, young bearies, and some leapard geckos and I find them so easy to keep. They last foreever, have no real smell, and there's no waste.

I don't bother with them. I like mealies better and go from there. They are even easier, to me, than zophoba and I think less crunchy.
And I am one of the cockroach converted. I haven't bought crix in weeks and the only one disappointed is a freind who buys from me for his AFTs and HATES roaches. Otherwise they are so SO much easier...even with the climbing. At least my Savannah monitors get exercise chasing them too.

I find that feeding any sort of worm to young beardies (under 3 months old) is not healthy for them. Crickets and salad is all that beardies should be getting until about 3 months old. Just my opinion though.

How so? I am curious. I have only had the two beardies we have now. Both we have raised from hatchlings and one is about a year and the other half a year. Both are healthy, active and love their roaches and mealies. I should say that I am 'known' to feed smaller prey sizes than other folks. So they are eating more of smaller prey. So the younger beardie is NOT eating one or two bigger worms....but several smaller ones. We breed our own mealies so have a good supply of all sizes from 1/4 inch on up.
