I think found out why my female Northern Ringneck Snake is not eating. It is like 60 degrees in my room. In the tank it's like 75 on the "hot side". But I think it knows it needs to hibernate. Natural instincts or maybe it is too cold on the "cool side". When she is on the cool side she buries into the dirt so I figure she keeps trying to hibernate, till I disturb her. So I added about 3 more inches of good soil and alot of rocks, a waterbowl and I put the tank in my attic. I have the heating pad on medium power and over the next week I am going to lower the temperature till I completely turn it off on Saturday. I hope it's good that I brumate her, this will give me time to concentrate on my baby Mississippi Map Turtle.
