Boa health problem....help!

snake26 Dec 07, 2003 12:59 AM

I just picked up a couple of new boas in a trade, anyway one of them, a hog island, is obviously ill. He's showing signs of respiratory problems, open mouth, bubbly mucous, etc. Besides that, the last 8 inches or so of him is "concave" on the bottom. He's also keeping his tail, starting at the vent, straight in the air. He was also laying kind of on his side this morning when I first checked on him. Any ideas? The respiratory problem I can deal with. The other things scare me. I think I have IBD phobia.
