Important questions about feeders

Jack31081 Dec 07, 2003 11:56 AM

I have a male veiled that is going on 2 years old (birthday is 01/01).

I'd like to diversify his diet and would like to know about various feeders. The feeders I'm considering are:

butterworms
waxworms
horn worms
hisser cockroaches
death head cockroaches

For each of these, I'd be appreciative for the following info:

- good for a veiled to eat?
- how often can this item be fed?
- how many of this item can be fed at once?
- on a scale of 1-10, how easy is it to care for this feeder (1 = easy)?
- link to a caresheet for this feeder?

Thanks a bunch guys.

Butter worms are a good treat (fattening).
Waxworms good treat (fattening). 7
Hisser roaches hard shell not good.. 10
Hornworms ok if he'll eat them. 6 (need chow expensive)
Death head roaches excellent staple 10.

What ever your veild will eat. I feed my panthers every other day. I noticed they didn't eat everyday so i use this method and works great for me..
