Most reptile bulbs have a warnings cause they do produce UV radiation two do that I have here anyway. ZooMed makes sure it's right on the box of all their bulbs even the fluorescent style Repti-Suns that have been used for years has a warning for UV radiation. Basically you don't stare into the light just like you wouldn't stare at the sun which is UV on a huge scale compared to a bulb. I wouldn't worry much at all unless the kids sit with their eyes peeled on the light for 10 years, but looking through a glass tank or the front of the cage while observing or cleaning will have no effect. I think it's more precautionary on the side of the company then anything else.
