My adult female is in a free standing, wood enclosure. 10 by about 7.5 feet, six feet tall. About two feet of dirt, but she seems to need more. I'll be adding another foot of dirt in a few weeks, once i elevate everything a bit more. She likes to climb, jump in a soaking tub from time to time, and hide a lot.
Keep in mind: these are eating machines. Not cheap to feed, and if you elect to skimp on the menu items (ie ground turkey and crud like that instead of predominantly whole rodents), you may wind up regretting it. Kept properly, they grow real big really quickly. And there is no guarantee they'll tolerate your presence. My female is kinda shy, but not above the occasional about-to-whip-you coiled tail display or puffed throat... in other words, she isn't what most people deem "dog tame."
Give them lots of heat, lots of food, and lots of options in their enclosures: water, deep dirt, climbing possibilities, and other ways to hide themselves when they want to.
Good luck with your choices.. sorry, no pics.
