PLEASE HELP SICK BALL PYTHON

i moved out of my house a few months ago, and my snakes are at my old house, im not there much but theve got there heat and water, they didnt have water for like a week, and i went to go give them some , and my balls mouth is odd.. he wont shut it, and it looks all puffy, im sort of scared to pick him up cause they havent been handled in a month or so. please help

Sounds like a mouth infection (mouth rot). The vet will probably prescribe antibiotics. While you are getting an appointment immediately raise the temperature to around 90 deg (but no higher than 95 at the most). Prolonged temperatures below 85 deg prevent their immune systems from working right and encourage these kinds of infections.

If the snake was very thirsty after no water for a while it may be kind of 'gurgly' after a long drink...then there is the poss of physical injury. If the condition continues it needs to be seen by someone w/ more experience. SJM
