Hi Gilbery007

You're welcome for the replies, i'm just trying 2 help out if you want, my email is x1angelbabyx@hotmail.com - i'll reply faster that way

i know it's unnatural for them to stay at a uniform temperature, but when you change your bulbs b/w day & night - the temps change... which somewhat helps in thermoregulation. at the same time, him walking around the tank or you handling him will help with the different temp gradients some leos stay in their hides for days, but if you're able to handle him, then you're doing great

i actually don't feed crix to my leo anymore because of all the warnings i read on this site :x but that doesn't mean you don't need to change your feeders! crickets are a great staple diet for your leo! he seems to be eating a lot, so he sounds very healthy to me! the crix feed from the pet store should be a good gutload, including the flakes you added in make sure the potato doesn't get covered up and mixed in the food though! especially if the crix feed from the pet store is corn-based (that might lead to a bad outcome if they're kept in a humid area). other than that, everything seems just fine when i did have crickets, i kept about 30-40 little ones in a medium sized critter keeper with food and a water pillow in different corners my friend works at PetSmart so she gives me great deals on them and hooks it up with extra on the side hehe~ now, i feed my leo mealworms - they're easier for me to handle and come with smaller amounts of risks than crix (from what i've read), so i decided to just stick to those (with an extra wax worm every saturday)

what was your new leo's name again? i'm excited to see those pictures tomorrow i should post some up soon too! i've been so lazy! take care and have fun!
