Jeff Clark is a hero!!!

Ok, ok, sorry to get all sappy, but I was just about to give up on my new BRB, but Jeff convinced me to keep trying and it will pay off. Well after almost 5 1/2 weeks my BRB finally ate!! He ate a live adult mouse tonight. He ignored it for about 20 minutes, but he finally killed and ate it.

I will probably offer another live meal in a week and if he eats it right away I will try and switch to F/T. Once he is eating regularly (weekly for a couple of months) I will try and move him back to the tub rack he was in originally.

I know I'm not out of the woods yet, but I'm over the hump now that he has eaten.

Thanks again to Jeff and everyone who offered advice.

Nick

You might wanna try giving it more mice next time (if appropriate for your animals size). Once they go in kill mode they usually dont have problems taking a few extra down after the first one. And if it hasn't eaten in awhile it will be good for the animal to eat more. I know if its not eating its annoying to buy multilple mice and stuff and then it not eat any...just trying to help tho

I saw a pic of the size of your animal and a post with the age. One mouse is definately enough! Sorry for the confusion.
