is it normal that my iggy sleeps on the floor. I move him up but he eventually crawls back down. I spy on him with my nightvision video camera.Maybe he likes the moss or something I really don't know he is a spaz when i walk in he starts doing laps and freaking out.

Yeah, your ig sounds psychotic, but in a cute iggly way...
Maybe he does like the moss, or maybe the cage is not tall enough? As for the NASCAR laps around the cage when u come in, he just has to get used to you.
Present him a treat everytime you come in, that way he associates you with something positive.

Good luck with it, and please, no more voyeur videos of the ig at night! Hahahaha.....

ok i cant find any info on this little thing. How long is too long to wait for him to eat. hes eaten nothing so far out of his nice (expensive) salads and all. Hes got light natural looking terrarium, and...him space if u wanna call it that. Thnx alot for this info tito

oh yeah by the way...the camera thing was cuz im lacking a black night light to look at him sleeping so i went in undercover with a camcorder...sorry if thats disturbing...

It all depends on the individual iguana. Some tame right away, some take weeks, or months, or years.....it depends.

You have to be patient, keep doing positive reinforcements, and make sure everytihng is correct.

If the salads are expensive, you're shopping somewhere too expensive! lol

As for the video, I was also kidding on that. Dont get black lights....... they're no good for them. Red lights are ok, but not for all night.
