YES! The Pomona show is definately worth going to... It's only 8 dollars to get in what's to lose (7 if you print the coupon)? You easily save that just in the money you save on supplies and on shipping. I drive from Vegas to Pomona (5hrs) and by the time I've got what I went for, I still save money over ordering it online and paying for shipping. Usually supplies are cheaper and sometimes chams are cheaper, but it kinda depends. Amazing Blue Reptiles and Kammerflage Kreations will both be there and there's always a few others, usually with veileds, fishers and/or jacksons. I think the shows are alot of fun. It's everything in reptiles all in one. San Diego would be a bigger show, but Pomona still has all the chams (Amazing Blue and Kammers) and supplies you'd need.

You're right but that's assuming you know where you're going... I always kill at least an hour driving around Pomona asking for directions to the fairgrounds. I've been there 3 times and it moves each time.

thats like going to vegas and getting lost off the strip! vegas is all gliter ON the strip but consider it "pomona" on the side streets! been there and done that trying to find thomas aand mack from MGM...ended up downtown! lol

Hey! Vegas isn't nearly as ghetto as Pomona off the strip! I think I'm cruising solo to Pomona now... My wife backed out and everyone else makes fun of me for driving that far to go to a reptile show. I'll probably head out early Saturday morning. Too bad I'm COMPLETELY BROKE! I need more cages again. Where's the X-Mas bonus when I need it?

Just because I'm getting more cages doesn't mean I have my babies! The eggs are 8 months old and I have 4 available baby cages now, but I also have 2 clutches of Nosy Be eggs that are almost 7 months old and a clutch of Veileds pushing 6 months now. I need more space. I built a big nice new table the exact size to fit 8 of the cages side to side and I already have light fixtures etc. ready I just need the cages. I'm also breaking ground on new cages for all my adult chameleons next week. I have some good ideas for the cages, I'll let you know how the ideas work. I'm gonna trash that big cage thing I had before. I also should have my Rainmaker Expanded set here in a week or so. I wanna get the cages situated before I install it all. We'll see about this weekend.... I'll E-Mail you.

dex i guess ut depends on what you are looking for or what you are expecting. this is my first year doing anything "retiple" and the only shows i have gone to are the IRBA shows show i don't have anything to compare it to. i can say this. i have ben to the every IRBA this year and the first san diego was a disappointment for me. it is described as the biggest west coast show and it wasn't anything special, the pomona show before it seemed bigger. now back in october i went back to the san diego show to talk to a couple breeders and pick up feeders, the show was much better. i'm not sure if it was because i had an agenda or if the show was just better then before but it seemed alot better the the first san diego show, not bigger just better. so maybe it just comes doen to what you expect. i'll be going to pomona as well next weekend, mainly for feeders but i also have to find a bearded for a friend and i want to talk to any PDF breeders if there are any( idon't remember seeing any in the past). personly i would go if not just to look around.

You guys over in cali get all the good shows with all the great big breeders in florida we get the people who have no clue where their chams come from and they are all jacksons or veileds or on the RARE occassion we get 1 good vendor. oh well have fun at the show all

Yeah but you Floridians are the ones bragging how the FL shows have panthers for 100 bucks.... The best thing about the CA shows is Kammers and Amazing Blue. Besides that, FL has bigger shows I think.

FL shows are bigger? hmm where did I get the impression that cali shows were bigger? I guess this is true we do get pretty good deals the last couple of hours of the shows So I guess that evens things out
