As far as I know, gestation period is between 6 and 9 months, sometimes even longer. Very much depends on temps and nutrition.I have heard of only 3 months, but I strongly believe that this is a misinterpration and the quite newly aquired female was gravid before the male was added.

becuase if you saw the pic of them, she is large, but has been looking that way since Sept. and I thouhgt wow, I don't understand why so long and nothing happening. But I suppose I'm just becoming to used to all my egg bearing lizards. They are only gravid for short periods. Thanks again, Eve
