My young carpet python is happy in his 20x20x20 herpcages.com cage now. Just wondering about the future - if I build a cage say 4ft high, will the snake use that height, or do adult carpets spend alot of time on the ground?

I've heard of carpets that do if given the option. I really think it will depend upon you personal preferences.

I have a Cage for my coastal thats 4T X 4L X 3D and she uses the entire cage. It was expensive as Sh*t, but its a nice show piece.
