They all carry snakes

I regularily receive snakes from Fed Ex, and Airborne Express. Its amazing when I read this forum and see that no one seems able to ship snakes except for Delta Dash! I get snakes right to my door all the time.Maybe anyone who wants to know how its done should just e some of the folks selling on the classifieds and ask for their secrets. I must say I don't think ANY of the boxes have been marked snakes, some might say LIVE ANIMAL on them but surely the shipper asks at the time its shipped what sort of animal it is. A few of the boxes even have had holes poked in them though most don't, so whoever is doing the shipping knows there is something alive in there.

The reason I ask is it's not necessarily as easy as one might think. Yes, I too have recieved packages containing reptiles through various shipping companies. I've also tried shipping via various companies. It is against the written policy of every shipping company I know to ship snakes. Now, one can supposedly get special permission to do so, but that is not necessarily that easy to do nor is it honored by all who recieve a package en route. Even if you get that special permission, some phobic clerk can check and refuse a package at any point. Oh, and not telling the company there is a live animal inside is NOT the best idea, yet many do use that method. It's a gamble though. Personally, I don't gamble with my reptile shipments and ship via the airlines where if you follow their procedure, you know your package will arrive safely.
