Houdini and Maya are doing great. These are two Saharan Uro's that I picked up from Doug Dix at Deer Fern Farms. For those of you that remember my post two months or so ago, this is Maya #2 because the previous Maya died of a respiratory infection. I had to exchange her and she died 2 days later in Doug's care. After the necropsy was done, they found aspirated water in her lungs. Probably from the bath water being too deep. So please be careful when bathing your uro. The water should be shallow. Ok, now for the photos.

And here is a photo of Houdini hiding. I think they have started to brumate because they only come out for an hour or two each day to eat a little, then they go back to sleeping.
