MVB Help please

drgnlover Dec 08, 2003 03:20 PM

Hello All,

Wanted to try and find out if anybody has any info on Dragon lights MVB bulbs?

Link:
http://dragonlights.com/catalog/

I recently purchased an 160 watt bulb from them. I've been using it for the last few days. I cannot get my temps correct since I've started using it. It says a min distance of 18" but my basking spot is only around 80F at that height. Any suggestions? I was using a 150 watt reg basking bulb before and that was more than enough at that height.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Andy

Hi
i gues you have a flood type ?
they spread more light and not focus it on one spot.
i would say make a second fitting so you can put in the a normal baskinglight who make a spot nearby the 160 watt 1 feet away .
then you have a change the 60-75 watt in the second fitting wil raise the baskingspot of the 160 watt.
r they lay down under the 60-75 watt but the uvb wil spread far enough then.
hope this make sense
byeeeeeee
