Ground Temps

How can I easily take ground temperatures? I have a 50 watt infrared bulb in my leos tank that keeps the air temperature (at least at the top of the tank..) about 75-80 degrees and then I have an Exo-Terra UTH. I have a rock cave over the UTH so it feels nice and warm inside but I'd like to get the exact temp.

You can buy a digital thermometer with a probe. They're indoor/outdoor thermometers, and you can get them at Walmart, etc.

Just put the probe in the tank on the ground and you can use the 'outdoor' setting to measure the temp there.

Probably cost around $10. they're really handy and accurate.
