Okay I have 2 water dragons. For feeding, each water dragon gets 1 fuzzie (2 weeks old) every other day so i go through 2 fuzzies in 1 feeding and i have 15 feedings a month, so overall im feeding 30 fuzzies to them monthly.
So right now i have a ratio of breeder mice at 1.2, and there not producing enough.

Now what do you guys say for a ratio of mice that will supply my water dragons to eat every month and have a surplus of about 10 fuzzies monthly afterwards to stock my freezer just in case of an emergency?

Plus im having problems with cannabalism, but i dont think i will anymore because i had a female before that went on a rampage and now she has taken an "early" retirement, but just to make sure i dont have this problem anymore what can i do to prevent it?

p.s. ive been told to give the mice occasionally a high protein cat or dog food in pellet form. So i give them this every other day for feeding.

Heres a pic of my water dragons saturn and tethys

I would use a 1:4 or 1:5 group of mice to keep your dragons fed and have some surplus. Since mice can have anywhere between 8-12 babies on average per litter, and say one litter per month, or one litter every 5 weeks depending on the size of fuzzies you need, you should average about 40 babies a month with a 1:4 ratio. Keep females from mothers with large litters to replace lower producing females, buy a new male every couple months to keep inbreeding cutting your production.

A 1:5 ratio will give you about 50 fuzzies a month, again depending on the averge litter size of your females. I have 4 females who produce a total of 45 babies, however two females out of that bunch only produce 9 and 10 babies, while the other two added the remaining 26 babies, so they were averaging 13 each.
