i took him out of the cage and examined him and the white spot is part of the skin but the black spot sticks up like like a wound of something..any ideas?

Scabs and bruises on cham skin are often black. I would keep an eye on it to make sure it isn't getting larger, clean it with a topical scrub like Betadine and a Q-tip and dab some Polysporin or triple antibiotic on it just to be safe. If it is still there after the next shed or so it might just be a black pigmented scale.
