Top Shelf Exotics

Has anyone dealt with this company? A friend of mine bought a "lizard" from top shelf exotics. He left me a message on my machine today asking me questions about feeding and set up. Don't you HATE that ?!! Why don't they research BEFORE they get animals? To top it off he didn't even tell me what kind of "lizard" it is. I think it will be a beardie because he had seen my beardie before and had admired him. Honestly, I hope it is a beardie because I'm sure I'll end up with it after he loses interest. How do I know these idiots?!!

Anyway is this a reputable company? Are their animals ok? Are they breeders?

Thanks,
Stacey

Top Shelf Exotics is great. The owner (Chris) is not a breeder. He sells a wide variety of reptiles and I don't believe he breeds any himself. What he does sell is top notch though. Alot of it is imported, but the ones that aren't are usually marked. I received three bearded dragons from him and they've all done well for me. I also received a pair of imported prehensile tailed skinks from him and they're doing well also.

Thank you for the feedback. I feel better now. I just found out it was a blue tongued skink. Does this mean it was probably wild caught?
