The first month I had mine, I had her out and she was wandering around my lap and arms. But someone messaged me on ICQ, so I moved over to my desk chair. Sure enough, as soon as I sat down, Echo ran quickly up my arm and around to the back of my neck. Problem was, I was wearing a big hoodie, and couldn't tell where she was. I didn't want to reach around and try to grab her because I was really new to leos and was terrified about her dropping her tail (seems like everyone scares the newbies. I know a few people who have been terrified of that.)
Anyway, I had no idea what to do, so I slowly stood up and walked across the room to my bed (while crouching so I was low to the ground incase she jumped). I made it to the bed, but I couldn't feel her feet through my hoodie, so I didn't even know if she was still there.
I spent the next 5 minutes taking off my hoodie carefully and sure enough she was sitting in the hood looking up at me like 'what the hell? I'm tryin' to nap!'.
So it took me a good 10 minutes to 'rescue' her, and I immediately put her back in her tank and decided on no handling for a couple of days. hehe

>> I just experienced a sort of funny scenario that i that i thought i would share with everyone. My leo had a tank that is on a high table, so to access it from the top i have to stand on a chair and lean over. Well, as i was doing i was rearranging some furnishings in the tank while yoshi was crawling up my arm. well i was so occupied by the hole he had dug that i didnt notice he had crawled onto my back. my back was horizontal because i was leaning over the tank, so i didnt stand up because i was afraid he might fall if the surface he was laying on suddenly became vertical. so i was standing there for about ten minutes until my brother came to the rescue and relived myself from the gecko. It was very funny and relieving.
