hey if my white's treefrog is croaking that means its def a male right?

While you guys are on the topic of croaking, i was wondering exactly how loud these guys are? right now i have a 2 1/2 year old female who never croaks and im seriously thinking about getting a male and doing some breeding but i keep them in a 55 gallon viv in my room and i dont want to be losing a ton of sleep because the frog is being vocal! so could you compare it to like, a cat meowing, or are they louder than that? thanx!

you asked me a Q's in one of the posts a week ago. i have now replied, so go check.

as for WTF's croaking, yes they can be very loud. it really depends on how many you have and there individual personalitys.

all my 3 males like to croak at different times of the night, though once one starts they all want a piece of the action.

as for how loud they are some can sound as loud as a dog barking, especially if you have many males, because they like 'show of' their croaks and see who has the loudest and deepest croaks, to attract females.
