My crested has buried himself under the bark I am using as a substraite. Being a novice I was just wondering if this is normal and why are they doing it?
Thanks

They'll do that more when they're young and I have yet to see an old one do it. They tend to hide in leaves and bark. Although an arboreal species, my friend's also tends to hide towards the floor. A higher cage perhaps would make him feel secure up top.
