Ive heard they are offering them for $10K per breeding pair. I dont know how reliable that figure is but its just what I heard. Quite the gamble. Could pay off, could crap out.

That would be the same with anything new. You could hit big or you could bust. Me, I don't want to look through the window and wish. This will be big. I'm in.

Ive been a vocal skeptic of the whole dwarf thing. As I said, I cant verify the accuracy of the $10K figure but if this was, in fact, the newest, greatest thing wouldnt most people be asking *more* than $5K per snake? Seems to me, when you can get a new dwarf burm for less than a piebald BP, something's not right. Just sounds fishy. I will continue to be a skeptic until there are several generations of these animals all displaying the same dwarf characteristics, not just a single clutch of small (but not all THAT small for hatchlings) babies.

I believe you got the 10K figure from the littl eblurp on her website about the authenticity of the size. On the website Savannah states that anyone can send them a check for 10K and then if after seeing the animals firsthand they are not convinced then she wwould refund the money. however if they were convinced then she would apply the 10K as a deposit towards a pair or a baby. She never specifically states what the price is just that the 10K would be used as a deposit. If you want to know the price for sure e-mail her. Todd

Apparently, someone DID inquire and thats what they were told, or something to that effect.
