I have a young Desert King (about 10 mos. old). She refuses to come out of her cave while the lights are on, so a UV bulb does absolutely no good. Does she need the UV light? Should I be supplementing her diet to make up for the lack of UV, or is she getting everything she needs from the mice? Thanks.

No bulb. No supplement. Just mice.
You can save the bulb and buy a day gecko for it, though.

Thanks for the advice. That's good to know. Don't think I'll get a gecko right now though; I'll be hung by my toes if I bring any more animals into the house! (1 cat, 1 fish, 1 snake, 2 hermit crabs, and 3 pet mice is plenty right now!)
