pardon my not being specific ... ie.. milk cheese butter... whatever it might be
I really don't know, but I personally would not. Even some mammals shouldn't have dairy products.

I would assume that a little cheese or ice cream would not be harmful are the VERY OCCASIONAL TREAT, I would certainly not be giving it to them on any sort of regular basis. Best to stick to what's proven as a safe and healthy diet of insects, rodents and fruit. Billy

i used to give Taz some cheese when he was younger. and he would try and eat out of my cereal when i left it unattended. i dont feed him cheese anymore, only roaches, rats, and chicks.
it was OK, but thats it, nothing more. there are better things you can give them.
Are you serious? Or are you referring to something other than the "typical" stuff? (Capt'n Crunch, Apple Jacks, Corn Flakes..)
I'd almost go so far as to ask if you're from the UK, because that's certainly not something I've heard of in the US
LOL Usumbara maybe you've hit upon a marketing idea for a new type of cereal. I think he was refering to the milk in his cereal bowl though. As far as dairy products I wouldn't think you would want to feed much to them. Since reptiles don't naturaly get milk from their mothers like mammels. They might be lactose intolerent or something.
i used to feed him cheese.
and i would be eating cereal. and if i got up for a minute Taz would always run over and start eating my cereal.
It is not okay to give any animal other than a mammal dairy products. A chemical (I think lactose) is not digested by any other animal (seeing as that producing milk is a trait unique to mammals). You can feed it to them but it will probably give them diareha (spelling..). In other words it won't kill them but it's not good for them either. They're bodies just aren't made to digest it.
