If you are referring to the E.o.quadravittata "greenish" ratsnake,
I know that a North Carolina breeder USED TO work with them. I'm pretty certain he hasn't since about 1997. They were certainly very attractive snakes. I believe he follows this board, maybe he'll put in a word on them if no one else does.
Yep, the Elaphe obsoleta obsoleta X Elaphe obsoleta quadrivittata intergrade is the one Im talking about. I would be curious as to what the albino looks like. With the yellow rat genes I bet the albinism would look really nice. Now Im thinking I may have to have one.

I got mine at the Ohio show a couple of years ago from Brian at BHB. I think that he is still listed on Kingsnake's breeder/dealer page. If not, let me know. I have one of his brochures around here somewhere.
My albino greenish is a great animal. He has a more "salmon" color than my albino black rat. Leaning more towards orange than pink. He also has lots of yellow underneath. A friend of mine who breeds Texas rats says it reminds him of his "flame" Texans. Without the yellow.
I asked Brian if he knew if the albino greenish carried albinism on the same gene as the black. In other words, if I bred my male albino greenish with my female albino black, would I get albino babies. He said that he didn't know, but that if I found out to let him know. Duffy

As usual, I am lagging about 10-15 years behind the rest of the world in technology. I only broke down and got a computer 4 years ago! No digital camera yet, although we will have to get one, and soon. My wife is an artist (still hasn't quit her day job) and she will need to be sending images over the 'net.
Maybe then I will be able to share pics, and not just ogle over all the great ones that you guys post. Duffy
until then, here is a pic of my albino black rat. He is the orangest one I have seen!

I had a male albino greenish rat about three years ago, it was my first snake and my favorite. I now want to try and breed these guys!!! It is not a very high end snake at all and the ones that I have seen(not Latley) where anywhere from 25-40 bucks. I know of two people that breed them but have been unsuccessful this past year and have no offspring available!!
They in my opinion are much prettier and brighter than the albino black rats. A very deep yellow with very orange laterals. I also like the albino everlglades but you rarely see anyone selling those, the guy who was selling them in the classifieds only had 2 and probably sold them by now. The albino everglades are probably one of the rarest morphs of ratsnake as I have only heard of a few pairs existing!!!!!!
Thanks
I believe Dwight Good might have some available this year. I have an albino male and a pair of hets. that will be producing some next season.
Good Luck, TravisG
