A few questions about "cooling" westerns.....

snakecharmed Dec 09, 2003 06:51 AM

Hi guys,
I know that you have probably been asked these questions alot in the past, but I can't seem to find any post related to my questions so here it goes.....How long should my westerns go without feeding before they are cooled down? I have heard different answers on this so hopefully someone that is experianced with cooling snakes can answer this one for me. Also, what should the cool down temps be? Thanks and Happy Holidays, Christy

You should not feed your hogs for 2-3 weeks before cooling them. The temps should be between 50-60 degrees for 2-3 months.
