Question about RE size

In the previous post idealreptiles posted about his male RE being 8 years old and 2 inches. Is that the average size for a male? I ask because I have 2 REs myself (as some of you know) 1 is exactly 2 inches and the other is 2 1/2 and they are only 7 months old. At about what age do they usually reach their adult length?
