Looking for a Calendar...

JLC Dec 09, 2003 12:59 PM

Hey all,

My daughter wants a 12 month calendar of her own to hang in her room. I've been holding out buying one for her because I'd like to find one with snake picture for each month, instead of cutsie puppies or whatnot. ('Cause she loves snakes!)

Does anyone know of anyone selling such a thing? I appreciate any help ya'll can give!

I've found turtles, geckos, and frogs, but not snakes. Snake ANYTHING is hard to find! It's to the point where I'm being forced to make my own t-shirts.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?

Not sure about snake calendars, I'm sure somebody has one. Here's a link to the KS.com bookstore, calendar section. There are some frog, lizard and turtle calendars in there..

Thanks for the quick responses guys. I guess I shouldn't have been so lazy about it. It only took about 30 seconds on Google to find somthing. Here it is if you're interested in one, too.

Here’s a calendar to consider (click here)

Make out your check for US$13 to Ron Brooks and send to:

Dr. R.J. Brooks
Department of Zoology
College of Biological Science
University of Guelph
Guelph, ON N1G 2W1
Canada

That price includes shipping and handling to the United States.

I haven’t gotten my copy yet, so I can’t guarantee that that it isn’t loaded with weird Canadian holidays. You know, like Boxing Day.

Good work finding it, but I couldn't possibly buy it as I couldn't hold out against an Atheris ceratophora staring at me for a month... buy me... buy me...

(since when are parrot snakes notorious?)

and could send it to anyone who wants it. I did one last year for those of you who remember. This one is of the snakes of KY and I did it for my own personal pleasure and I am not charging anything.

and I can e-mail it to you. It can only be opened using microsoft power point. So if you dont have power point you will need to find someone who does. I used regular photo quality paper to print it and put it together using 3 small zip ties. Very easy and looks nice.
