Love those pics, but sorry to hear about pheasants in PA.
Used to see alot of them in the Pittsburgh area, maybe 30 years ago. Would hear the males calling in the spring and see them strutting their stuff on the edge of pastures. Would even find hens with groups of chicks.
Seemed to be doing well back then. Anybody know what happened to them?

Thanks, I called it a she because the tail was gone, I guess I was thinking of peacocks? lol

Anyway, there are a million and a half cats running around outside here all the time. So I can see how they would have gone after it I get so mad at these people who have cats but think a litter box is too much trouble, so they let the cats run outside. Not only because of what they do to wildlife, but also because there is a busy highway, and a busier freeway just a short walk from my house.

pheasants are pretty well populated in MN I believe, but we usually only see them in the winter, when their food is covered in snow so they have to come up to our bird feeders from the river.

Thanks for looking
