Thanx for advice on Hovabator, purchased one, a little confused

Damon Dec 09, 2003 04:13 PM

I purchased a Hovabator the thermal air flow model to use hopefully for some ball python eggs.

This is my first incubator and I am a little confused..

First question do I use the metal wire mesh in the bottom of it? I don't think I do...

There is also a plastic liner for the bottom, not sure if I use that.

Do I just mix my Vermiculate/Perlite together with correct amount of water and put it into the incubator?

Thanx.

Well put the plastic liner in and fill the well marked "thermal", this just adds to your humidity; then you put the screen on. You then can place a container with your moistened medium and your ready to get your hova-bator up to temp.
