Salmon X Argentine.......Answers & Pics...

BASICALLYBOAS Dec 09, 2003 05:30 PM

Just thought with the Salmon X Argentine breeding question brought up below we would share pics of two of our nicest 75% Argentine Salmons (Salmontines) from this year's Salmontine X Argentine litter. To answer Mike's question below we did do a breeding in 2001 of a Salmon X Argentine. We then took one of the male 50/50 Salmontines from 2001 and bred him back to an Argentine this year in 2003 resulting in 75% Salmontines. Good luck to Mike on his breeding and it will be interesting to see the outcome when using a Super Salmon male. We are also hoping to produce a few DH Salmontine Sunglows this season from our Albino Argentine cross bred back to one of our 2001 50% Salmontine females. We hope everyone has a successful breeding season and more new and exciting boas are produced!.....
......COME-ON STRIATED BOA!

Here are two completely different looking 75% Salmontines from the same 2003 litter.

If you are attending this weekend's IRBA Pomona show, we will be vending there and would like you to come by and say hello.

Thanks for looking!

Most of you have seen these pics already but here they are for Mike W. and those of you who have not seen them.

This is Sammy, from Mikes first breeding of the Salmontines. She is 7 feet and just an absolute beast!

Here is Seven our 75% male from Mikes second breeing. Ouch that color must hurt!

If you do not have any of these yet, you should get them! They are fun to work with, and the color is AWESOME.

Just as Mike and Steph are working the dbl het for Salmontine sunglows, we are too. We hope to have a few this season, HOPE!

(Sorry John, but I am still their #1 fan.....lol)
