YEA!!!!!!!!! Can you tell I'm excited?? I just checked on some of my larger boas to find my Hypo het Ghost male that I got from Linda H breeding my Ivory Anery female!!! SUPER DUPER YEA!! Snapped some quick pics to share with everyone. I'm keeping all my fingers and all my toes crossed on this one

There are actually three boas in the pictures. My female Hypo is in there with them. She probably won't breed this season cause she's still a little small...

Thanks,
Celia

The male...

Some close-ups...

I'm so glad to hear you made the trip safe and sound. I know the boas will soften the adjust to the humidity, the mosquitos, the humidity....the mosquitos. Although, since it's winter now, you will most likely ease into these things next spring

It good to see Miss Sidney looking so good and soon to be preggers.....fingers crossed.

Got Bats?

Mickey_TLK Dec 09, 2003 11:34 PM

So after being bagged up for a few days and going from cali to louisiana they went ahead and knocked boots upon arrival? Was this the first time they were together? Were they cooled? If not next time I need to get the boas in the mood, Im sending them on a cross country trip, ANY MUSIC TIPS?....LOL

Congrats and good luck. Great looking animals (all of them, really nice albino too)

It does sound like that's what happened, huh? The DH was actually shipped to the Albino's location in September so they've had a proper "get acquainted" period.

wetceal Dec 10, 2003 10:23 AM

Miss Sydney (the Anery) was with me in California and Linda shipped the male DH to my boyfriend's facility in Louisiana. So a couple of days ago was in fact the first time they "met". Both were being cooled at night. The anery girl was in a pillowcase for the entire 3-day trip. When we finally got there, it was pretty late and we were dead tired so we just put the two big girls in with the male DH since I was planning on breeding the anery to him anyway. Well, the next morning...there ya go! I couldn't have asked for anything better!!

I won't say congratulations because I don't want to jinx you but I wish you great success with this litter. I am interested to see how this breeding turns out. That male is from the orginial ghost litter from 2000 and fathered some nice partially striped ghosts last year for me. His siblings produced the very light reduced pattern ghost this year from a ghost x ghost breeding. I am interested to see what the breeding with a lighter anery will do. I am also trying this males' ghost brother with a very light anery female. It will be interesting to see how light the ghosts turn out. I can assure you that the anerys produced should be some of the nicest ever as I think the anerys from ghost litters tend to be very light and destinctive. I think you will be very happy with the dhets also as the hypos from this line are very clean and colorfull even as F1 hypos. Best of luck again and I hope to see saw awesome babies this spring.

you produced last season and they were just oustanding killer animals...especially that reduced pattern ghost! How's that guy looking now anyways? I am super excited and can't wait to see what these two will do for me this season!

Thanks,
Celia
