male or female

i am just wondering how to tell if my ig is a male or female? he/she has a horn on the top of his/her nose and i was told that that means that it is a male and he also has red in him well it tints his hole body and he head bobs alot.

The rostral horn on your iguana's nose has nothing to do with gender. If you look at my photos on the ig photos thread below I posted a pic of a female with 2 lovely rostral horns. Females can also become orange this time of year. Take a look at the row of femoral pores on the inside of your iguana's thighs. If they are quite visible with a whiteish waxy plug in the center it's a boy. If they are pinhead size with no center it's most likely a female. Also look for development of jowls and a higher dorsal crest.
